A Getaway
“Perfect!” Jimmy grinned wickedly.
“What is?” Kayla looked up from her book.
“Nothing…”
“Nothing? That usually means something…”
“Never you mind. It’s a surprise.”
Jimmy quickly made the booking. This would be the perfect wedding anniversary getaway. Kayla harped on enough about wanting to get away to somewhere quiet, away from the bustle of the city. Jimmy had found what she was looking for, and a lake for fishing.
Kayla grinned. She loved it when he had that look in his eye. She hoped it was sparkly and blue to match her eyes. That would be perfect!
