Tulips & Olive Branches
Aurora peeked from behind a tulip petal and with hands on hips, she sighed as she gazed at the enormity of the job before her. She had promised the Fairy Queen she would make amends to the bee community for her clumsy behaviour a few months before.
She had been flying against the wind and had knocked a few hundred oncoming bees off course. She had spilled some fairy dust from her pouch, and this had irritated their eyes. Now she had to find the B52 clan among the tulips and apologise to them. One bee at a time.

Love this! What a stingy job having to apologise to all those bees!

I hope her magic wand is fully charged and can help her locate the bees she needs!
You’re very brave writing a fairy story ‘straight’ with only a breath of whimsy about it. But it works. Well done!

That’s a big task she’s got. A lovely, warm-hearted fairy tale with an endearing main character. Good title too.
