Kate’s curiosity is curbed by some confusing news.

The Sceptic and the Psychic
Kate washed her hands with a mild soap especially for sensitive skin, in readiness for her appointment with Madam Zelda. She had met the popular psychic while waiting for a bus. Zelda had encouraged her to visit her for a palm reading.
MZ – “I see a tall, older man.”
K – “How tall?”
MZ – “Shh. I see a waterfall.”
K – “Where’s that?”
MZ – “There is a ring.”
K – On who’s finger?”
MZ – “I see a baby.”
K – “No way! Can you see a map of this waterfall?”
MZ – ”I don’t do directions. I’m telling you what I see. You’ll want the lotto numbers next!”
Thanks for reading
Fair questions. K’s turn. “I see a not so real purveyor of woo-woo.” Fun read.

I am not a skeptic which is why I avoid psychics unless I know what kind of spirit they serve. If I’m unsure, skepticism is the best stance to take. I am glad to hear K’s asking the right questions.

Yes, I think so too! The Madame Zelda almost needs a list of do’s and donts that needs to be signed before people pay lol

Two different worlds, ne’r shall they meet. I’m sure both of them parted disappointed with the experience. Good story.
