Here is one of my favourite muffin recipes from a book by Kiwi cooking goddess, © Alison Holst. This recipe book was used daily or weekly and is over 30 years old.

Its a a bit blotchy (you should/will see my double chocolate muffin recipe…it’s even worse! 😂🤣😂)

Ta-dah! It’s the sweet n sour drizzle on top which you can’t see here, that is the hero in this recipe. But everyone who’s eaten these muffins over the years, says they are delicious. Actually, that muffin book has its own story which I will share later…
