The week got away with me, and now it’s Saturday – Day 9 of Jumpers and Jazz in July. Such has been my week that I finally got time yesterday to wander the main street and snap some shots of a few of the tree jumpers before it’s all over tomorrow afternoon. This awesome, quirky winter festival filled with food, music, colour, creativity and fun all comes to an end tomorrow.
JJJ is Warwick’s time to shine. So this patchwork is all about colour, creativity and everything that is JJJ. Here is my pick of the tree jumpers.

The Wisteria Woods is my favourite…
This morning the Suitcase Rummage filled a section of Palmerin Street…

I hope these collages give a good taste of the variety and talent that is Jumpers and Jazz in July. Wind farms are a prominent feature in our rural areas. Hanks of homespun yarn, and everything imaginable and beyond is crocheted.
Tomorrow is the big JJJ Market Day. It’s a real doozie. (cracker/beauty/grand event) Last year we had 250 stalls showcasing all manner of arts and crafts, and food unique to our region, with some of the best jazz performers from around Australia for visitors from around the region, interstate and offshore. There is a beautifully crafted tree jumper from Lincolnshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, Lincolnshire, England.

So there we have it for today. I’ll snap a few more pics tomorrow. Jumpers and Jazz in July has been another great effort from a hard-working committee, and so many talented creatives. But it’s not over yet! I am still a newbie to Warwick; 8 years as a resident by no means gives me a ‘local’ status lol But I am proud to be part of this great little city’s community.
