I’m back…
This patchwork is all about charm, history, soft romantic lights, bubbly laughter, the sweet sound of the piano accordion floating along a cobbled street, the sigh of contentment, poodles out for a walk, and amid all of this…crazy traffic, one way streets and cyclists breaking every rule.
We’ve had an incredible time in Paris. It was far too brief, just a day and a half to pack in as much as possible. The Tour Eiffel, Champs Elysees, a stroll beside the Seine River.
And pack it in, we did. Just like being packed in like sardines, shoulder to shoulder on the Paris Metro. If I mentioned the London tube was packed…I take it back. It was a bit full.
Paris knows how to pack and squash! Shoulder to shoulder, pressed firmly against strangers, swaying two and fro. No one minds, no one cares. They are all just going from A to B.
The cafes are stunning. We were lucky to be staying in Montmartre; so much history and charm.
The Cafe scene was jawdropping, outside dining or just sipping as the world rolls by like true street theatre. I can’t wait to write a book about it all!

We’re now heading south on the train to Barcelona. More views and scenes to fall in love with!
Until next time…
Thanks for reading..

Enjoy 😉
