Howdy from the Sunny Southern Downs, SE Qid 🙂

Warwick is doing its thing again and bypassing Spring altogether. Out on my Sunday. walk, it’s warming up and pays to be out before 10 am. Last year we had a decent Spring; we had lovely temperatures for three months. The temperatures were similar to our summer in NZ. On the other hand, NZ Summers have been getting up in the mercury as well, so it’s not unusual to have temps in the low 30s.

Of the many contrasts I’ve noticed between life here and across the pond, the birds are bigger here. But this morning, I saw a tiny bird. I don’t know what it was, but it was really cute. It was smaller than our NZ sparrow, and yet it hopped about like it was as big as a Galah. Attitude is everything!
