The weekend is here. 😀

I have two days off to catch up on stuff—small stuff that doesn’t take long, moderate-sized stuff that takes a bit longer, and big stuff that I chip away at as the mood hits me.

We’re in the middle of, or maybe the end of an unseasonal late winter heatwave. The temperatures are breaking records for the last week of Winter. It was 30 each day last week, we’re already on 32 today, at 3 pm. The temps are predicted to drop to 21 on Monday 😀 that sounds more like it. We jumped from winter temps to heatwave overnight, so that was a curveball. But the heat is coming, there’s no getting around that. At least it’s reassuring to hear the locals say it’s horribly hot, so it’s not just this Kiwi who has yet to adjust to a Qld summer. melt…melt…
