Hello! It’s been a while and this rant should have been done on Wednesday, but life got busy.

First…Here’s a random definition of sacrilege. That moment when you are driving, the radio is on, and that song comes on…you know the one …it’s one of those songs that you stop what you are doing and savour like a good wine, or a bowl of your favourite treats. But no. You have arrived at your destination and are commanded by time restraints to turn off your engine and remove yourself from the car. So the song doesn’t get played. That’s sacrilege. I could have sung it out loud with no one listening. And what’s worse? It happened three times in one day. Damn it! Three songs begged to be turned up, and for me to sing out loud, too. I call it singing, most other ears might call it a weird squawk. Another day in another rant I will do Onomatopoeia…it’ll keep.

Secondly… this is just uncanny/weird and can get my anxiety a little cranked up. I was holding a ceramic mug, was about to put it in the sink to rinse out – and the handle breaks off! The next day it happened again! It wasn’t even my cup, or in my house. So it’s not like all my mugs and cups are old and need replacing. Yikes! So the handle breaks away from the pretty painted tea cup, into the frothy depths of the kitchen sink. I am told the cup is at least30 years old, and not a precious heirloom, instead one of a set of 6 from Woolies. and has done well to get this far. So now I look at the handle of cups and mugs with a suspicious squint. My mug was only a couple of years old, so now I’m holding my mug or cup with both hands.

This rant stops here. So may your cup be filled with goodness and the handle stay safely in place, and may the song that revs your tyres be turned up so you can sing like no one’s listening. Unless you have vocals that are far easier on the ear than mine, I hope you have an appreciative audience!

Thanks for reading, drop your thoughts, I welcome feedback!
